Jacob Sartorius

JacobRolf Jacob Sartorius was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. His parents were unable take care of him right away after his birth and so he had to be adopted before being relocated to Virginia. His family was raised within Reston, Virginia by his adoptive parents and at age seven, he started performing in musicals. That was where was he discovered his passion to perform. Prior to the demise of Vine the American short-form video hosting platform, in 2017, Sartorius lip-syncing videos posted on Vine gained more than eight million followers up to August 2016. Being a victim of bullies, he believed that the internet was his way of way to escape. He admitted before Musical.ly that he wasn't the most social. He believed that everybody was watching him , except for the camera.
